Over 15 years as a professional Chef and Caterer Sandra Batiste is the owner of BonaBatiste Taste Couture & Bayou Scratch Kitchen.
In the culinary world, Chef Sandra is known for blending creativity with bold flavors. With a portfolio that includes top music festivals, premieres, and television she has become the new sought-after celebrity chef for high profile events, bringing unique and immersive dining experiences to thousands of fans.
And consequently, Chef Sandra is known as the other half of the new culinary duo “The SanChe’ Remix” along with Chef Che’ Gravy Gaines aka “The Sauce Boss” of the hit Bravo TV show ‘Roble’ & Company.” Together Chef Sandra and Chef Che’have illustrated their own creative cultural recipe remixes.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area the granddaughter of Creole & Cajun grandparents however, it was Sandra’s grandmother who taught her everything about cooking from scratch. Moreover, it was her grandfather’s legacy (as a cook on Bourbon Street) that led to the career-shift of Chef Sandra when she decided to leave everything behind to become a full-time Chef.
Becoming Top Chef for the 2023 Food & Wine Festival of Las Vegas. A prestigious honor that represents a high level of culinary expertise, creativity, and dedication to her craft. Chef Sandra was featured in the January 2025 edition of Food & Beverage Magazine, along with becoming a top chef for this year's Taste of the NFL Super Bowl event in New Orleans.
This former entertainment industry talent manager and Miss USA delegate decided after culinary school that she would take the food hospitality industry by storm and create her own mark in this competitive business.
Beyond live events Chef Sandra’s culinary expertise has captured media attention. Along with having a successful catering company, BonaBatiste. It went on to become a phenomenon throughout the industry. Servicing large scale music festivals and sports events such as Rolling Loud, Foodie Fest, and Coachella to VIP and celebrity premiers across the nation. Chef Sandra Batiste has been featured in various media trades such as Eater Magazine, Hollywood Reporter, TV One, CBS, The Cooking Channel and other notable platforms.
